Times are recorded with a Stop Watch...

01 cit takes 22 seconds (22.56) to make 1 barracks
02 cits take 17 seconds (16.89) to make 1 barracks
03 cits take 15 seconds (14.83) to make 1 barracks
04 cits take 14 seconds (14.31) to make 1 barracks
05 cits take 13 seconds (13.54) to make 1 barracks
06 cits take 13 seconds (12.77) to make 1 barracks
07 cits take 13 seconds (12.75) to make 1 barracks
10 cits take 12 Seconds (12.02) to make 1 barracks
20 cits take 11 Seconds (10.72) to make 1 barracks
30 cits take 11 Seconds (10.72) to make 1 barracks

No difference between 20 and 30 cits to build 1 barracks

Military Unit Build Times...

Bowmen: It takes a Barracks 21 seconds (20.49) to produce 1 bowman, at a cost of 16 food, 11 wood and 7 tin each.

Horses: Armoured Cav take 36 seconds (36.21) each to build, at a cost of 19 food, 14 gold and 9 tin each.
If you do a horse/ram rush and fail you have no barracks to produce bows and you will have no gold for cats. If you horse/ram you must succeed or your dead.

Cats: It takes a Workshop 42 seconds (41.89) to produce 1 cat. Twice as long as a bowman.

If you have 4 Workshops at 4:15 and you have all 4 produce cats you will have 4 cats approximately just before 5 minute mark Wink
To do that you will need 152 wood, 152 gold and 100 iron at the time you start making cats.

Rams: It takes a Workshop 32 seconds (31.40) to make 1 ram. You could have 4 rams before 5 minutes if you have 4 workshops and start producing rams at 4:25
To do that you will need 120 wood, 120 gold and 60 tin.

Resource Gathering Rates...

Times are recorded with Cits next to a well placed warehouse.

Tin: It took my Cit 9.41 seconds to gather 15 tin.
Stone: 9.41 seconds
Wood: 9.41 seconds
Gold: 9.41 seconds
Iron: 9.41 seconds
Food Patch: 9.41 seconds
Farm: 9.41 seconds
Endless Food Tree: 9.41 seconds

Fruit Patch vs Farms...
I timed 1 cit on a fruit patch and 1 on a farm for exactly 1 minute..
They both produced exactly 97 food each.

There are only miliseconds difference for each as the rate is actually the same and its basically just the distance from the warehouse that determines any time differences.

Food Consumption vs Gathering:
Citizens are produced at the City Center every 13.54 seconds and require 23 food each. Thats 102 food per minute needed and 1 Cit on food produces 95.64 food per minute.

1 CC cycling Cits = 102 food used per minute = (1.066) 2 Cits on food to stay safe.
2 CC cycling Cits = 204 food used per minute = (2.132) 3 Cits on food to stay safe.
3 CC cycling Cits = 306 food used per minute = (3.198) 4 Cits on food to stay safe.

How many bows do you want to produce by 5 minutes?

50 bows requires 800 food = 2 minutes x 5 cits on food.
50 bows requires 550 wood = 2 minutes x 6 cits on wood.
50 bows requires 350 tin = 2 minutes x 2 cits on tin.

In other words if you have barracks at 3 minutes making 50 bows you will need an extra 5 cits gathering food other than the Cits gathering food for the CC's that are cycling cits.

You will need the following just to produce 50 bows by 5 minutes...
3 on food from start
8 on food from 3 minute mark
an extra 6 on wood from the 3 minute mark
2 on tin for 2 minutes.

Conclusion...

From the above Cit information it is not worth putting more than 2 cits on 1 building unless for example its Brit war where I often see guys using 4 cits to build the 1st stable.

This information should help you form a better strategy for building an army at the 5 minute mark.

Cowboys if you have a lot of wood and you want to spam rax have 5 lots of 2 cits instead of 1 lot of 10. you get the rax 5 times faster.

Yeah but that takes longer...Btw can you find the farm timine results? Like measure it from the start to 1 min, and see how much food it gets, I want to see what is faster, forage patches or farms. Very Happy Thx

No Bro its faster if you have 5 groups of 2 cits.. seriously.. but what ever you prefer is fine :p

Oh cool and btw I mean't it takes longer to get all the citz and do all that but in the end it's faster but for a lazy person like me and with annoying lagg and stuff...I would choose the 10 citz spam tons over that other one Smile
